Helping RTE Food evolve with insights and innovation

RTE is the largest broadcaster in Ireland and its website has a wide-ranging reach, with more than 7 million website visits every month. RTE wanted to explore the possibility that RTE Food could evolve to become more than just a recipe repository, but a leader of the new wave food community in Ireland.

Connector created an innovation plan to help RTE visualise and prioritise the key consumer, digital and social trends which impact their business. We developed a trend-led innovation pipeline for the coming months and beyond, with detailed suggestions of UX and UI improvements, consumer-facing innovations and even business models to connect with foodies, increasing their reach, engagement and profits.
