Connector was delighted to partner with the Food & Drink Event on the 5th of September 2018 in Citywest.

We were part of a great line up with lots of speakers to enjoy and learn from.

Nicole Owens from Connector spoke at the event.  Nicole is a digital strategist and experience designer with expertise in social media and the use of online platforms to build brand and achieve business goals, beyond marketing.

She studied Sociology at Trinity College Dublin and User Experience Design at General Assembly, leaving her ideally placed to analyse how brands are, and should, react to changing social norms and consumer expectations. Nicole is also a member of the Dublin Ladies Senior Football team, winning an All Ireland and a GAA All Star in 2017.

A big talking point is how changing social norms are impacting the food and drink industry, particularly with regard to social media. Nicole delivered a talk on how brands are reacting to these changes and consumer expectations, highlighting the most inspiring brand examples as well as the cautionary tales.
