Our challenge? To bring the magic of finding a special present under the Christmas tree to Life Pharmacy’s social channels and connect the online with the offline!
We created the Virtual Santa Claus Christmas Tree – a cross-platform social media app where users could win amazing, instant prizes, such as beauty products, vouchers and more!
If there were no presents under the tree, people could check back at a later time to see if Santa had left them a surprise!
The engaging mechanics enticed the users to come back for more and share the app with their friends!
To integrate the online and offline we also created NFC and QR Code Point of Sale displays and in-store posters that directed visitors online to the competition web app.
In less than two weeks, we succeeded in spreading the magic of Christmas!
On a small experimental budget, we achieved more than 4,000 people checking the tree and succeeded in activating both an online and offline audience for Life Pharmacy!
